…lovely isn’t she?

Venus stations Retrograde from December 21, 2013 to January 31, 2014.  Venus rules finance, sexuality and relationships and to deal with these things during this, for many, an emotionally supercharged time period might be overwhelming … but does it need to be?

Venus expresses what it is we really want – our personal interactions, our way of life, our needs and desires.  Retrograde periods almost force us to re-evaluate and re-assess what and whom we have in our lives and in our beds: “What if,” “Is this all there is?” and “Why am I here with you?” are questions that arise all on their own.  (Don’t pretend to not know the answer to any of those if they come to you while bent or bending someone else over the end of a bed, or the hood of a car, or a kitchen table.)

If melancholy or a mad desire to escape develops understand that you’re there where you are now because at some point you wanted to be there: be it lust or love, you DID attract it.  The key while Venus is retrograde is not to doubt and destroy what you do have, but rather to establish in your own mind what you must have and then to seek it.  Life is but a blink in time and to settle for less than satisfied on your path leaves the world a sadder place.  Expect that your journey will give you all that you need and no matter where you go, always pack lube…
